IRIS eTrike® is a street-legal, high-performance electric trike classified as an EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle), meaning it can be ridden on roads and cycle paths by anyone aged 14 and over*—no road tax, licence, or insurance required.

The all-new production IRIS eTrike® has been radically re-engineered with next-gen architecture, combining breakthrough safety features, cutting-edge rider controls, and premium performance components. From its ultralight safety capsule cabin, built from impact-absorbing, carbon-reinforced EPP, to the powerful new mid-drive motor system and filtered climate-control, every element has been upgraded to deliver a faster, safer, and smarter way to travel. An ultrawide mirror dashboard gives you additional elements of safety protection with a responsive 12” touchscreen and real-time 360° video from front, side, and rear cameras. Integrated Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) keep you alert and confident on every ride.

Aerodynamic body slices through the air with minimal drag. A patent pending HVAC system directs ice-cool air directly onto the motor, helping it run more efficiently with superior hill-climb ability compared to regular e-bikes and cargo bikes—all with 180 litres of cargo.

Upgraded to include top-tier lightweight Shimano MTB components throughout, including electronic gear shifting and hydraulic disc brakes for sharp, responsive control. A powerful and responsive CYC Photon 2 mid-drive motor with smooth torque sensing tech is paired with a high-performance CYC A-65 battery, offering 110Nm of torque. An innovative reverse function offers rapid maneuverability out of tight spaces.

A low center of gravity and a chassis precision-engineered from high-grade carbon deliver exceptional stability and stiffness. The fully enclosed cockpit is sealed against the elements with an aviation-grade acrylic canopy, unlocked using a supplied RFID keycard. A fully tunable suspension system—featuring a RockShox Monarch RL Air spring paired with a rear swinging fork—ensures a smooth, controlled ride across all terrains while minimizing rear-end lift during hard braking.
Smart Steering, Intuitive Controls and Easy Access
Bowden cable steering system, combined with Ackermann geometry, replaces bulky handlebars with sleek, flight controller-style grips that twist to turn—featuring push-buttons for indicators, lights, and electronic shifting, all within easy reach. This streamlined layout frees up cabin space, making it easier to get in and out. Riders between 5'0" and 6'5" (150–195 cm) can fine-tune their riding position using the adjustable seat, handlebars, and pedal boom. The seat also pivots forward to raise the battery for easy removal and access to the air spring. A dashboard integrated into the canopy frame lifts out of the way on entry, and a wireless charging pad keeps your mobile phone secure and powered throughout the ride.
Climate-Controlled Cabin with Air Filtration
An integrated HVAC system, coupled with a hybrid HEPA+Carbon filtration unit, keeps the cockpit pollution-free, shielding riders from harmful urban air while maintaining a comfortable, temperature-regulated environment—perfect for city commutes or long country rides in all weather. The filtration system actively removes particulates, vehicle emissions, and airborne allergens, turning the IRIS eTrike® into a mobile clean-air zone. Select between blasting warm filtered air onto the canopy for demisting, or cool, purified airflow onto the rider and cargo area—helping preserve groceries in transit and ensuring every journey is as healthy as it is efficient.
Quiet by Design
Engineered for a whisper-quiet ride, the ultralight EPP safety capsule provides natural sound insulation, while a custom motor enclosure further dampens noise from the already low-noise CYC mid-drive motor—delivering a smooth, silent, and distraction-free commute.
Modular construction

Aviation acrylic canopy with abrasion-resistant coating. Multi-step folding hinge with gas strut. Bonded-in carbon fibre frame for stiffness with strut brace integrating carry handles, glovebox and dashboard. Canopy can be fixed open with 1cm gap for air cooling without A/C.
Body
Lightweight safety capsule constructed from impact-absorbing EPP foam with carbon fibre interlocks for enhanced strength and acoustic insulation. A roll over bar and side impact protection are formed as part of the carbon structure for added rider safety.

180 litres behind-seat cargo space accessible via seat tilt. Additional glove box behind canopy. An optional tow hitch allows you to connect a bike trailer.
