IRIS eTrike® can be ridden on a road or cycle path by anyone aged 14 years or over without the need for road tax, driving license or insurance.

Capable of reaching speeds of over 30 mph (48 km/h) and a range of approx 30 miles (48 km) from a single battery charge. IRIS is a consumer friendly, electric version of Earth's fastest, human powered bicycles. The futuristic body design is inspired by aerodynamic helmets used for velodrome bike racing.

IRIS is an evolution of many Sinclair vehicles.
EXTRA SAFE
Chest height, high level profile attracts attention from other road users. Weatherproof EPP foam body construction protects rider. LED headlamps, indicator-repeaters and brake lights aid visibility. Built-in, replaceable HEPA filters capable of catching a high percentage of microscopic particles, including many bacteria and viruses.

STORAGE
Lockable cargo compartment can carry 100 litres, accessible internally by folding seat forward.

EASY TO USE
Exceptionally agile with go-kart like handling. Three-wheeled layout means no balancing required. Mid-drive motor automatically starts when pedalling is detected (no throttle required, but available on request). Punctureproof Tannus cargo tyres avoid need for regular tyre changes. Cabin includes a universal smartphone dock for GPS, music playback and calorie count etc. IRIS includes a built-in 120˚rear-view camera which streams real-time video to the riders docked iPhone® or Android® mobile device.

ULTRA EFFICIENT
Uses a minimal amount of electricity for a full charge. Low maintenance, 9-speed race bike gearing with trigger shifters. Twin mechanical disc brakes provide max stopping power.

WEATHER PROTECTION
Curved aviation acrylic canopy is aerodynamic with special coating so no need for windscreen wipers. Built-in cooling system with canopy demister, channels filtered air inside cabin.

COMFORT
High level ergonomic seat has adjustable boom for leg length. IRIS eTrike® keeps you warm and dry - the foam body and seat design make for a comfortable ride over long distances without the need for added suspension. For ultimate comfort some internal seating elements are customised to suit the intended rider (height and weight will be requested prior to delivery).
BATTERY
Portable Lithium-Ion battery with 50.4v 19.6Ah capacity pack provides range of 30+ miles on a single charge. Portable charger (included) has 4Amp rapid charging capability.

Choice of three powerful Bafang mid drive motors enables IRIS to easily get up steep hills:
